Financial controller

Due to the expansion of our finance department, we are looking for a highly motivated Spanish speaking Finance officer. In this role, together with your Finance colleagues, you ensure that our financial administration is accurate and reliable. You handle the processing of invoices, monitor outstanding items and identify discrepancies. You take appropriate action if the situation requires it.

Additionally, you assist with the monthly closing. You understand how financial items relate to each other, can contribute ideas regarding corrections and provide input to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently. You work accurately, maintain an overview, and find it logical to investigate matters thoroughly rather than letting them slide. We are looking for someone with a solid accounting foundation who enjoys taking responsibility for their work.

Who are we looking for?

  • MBO/ HBO working and thinking level, preferably in a financial field
  • Good command of Spanish and English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
  • Several years’ experience in a similar financial administrative position
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping
  • You work accurately, independently, and enjoy contributing ideas
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central, is preferred not a must

What will you do?

  • Processing purchase and sales invoices in SAP (in 2027 moving to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
  • Managing accounts payable/receivable
  • Checking payments and outstanding items
  • Assisting with financial reporting and period and year-end closings
  • Processing bank transactions
